Ashwini Bagga has been actively working for road safety and serving for the cause since 2010. Later he get associated with the Department of Transport and Road Safety, Government of Rajasthan as Road Safety Consultant and accompained the Lead Agency in number of assignment including formulation of Road Safety Action Plan, Scheme under section 135 of the Motor Vehicles Act - 1988, Preparations of various Reports, and conducting a number of Training and Capacity Building Programs. Major achievements by Ashwini Bagga in the field of Road Safety are depicted under different categories.
Submitted suggestions in the draft document Code of Practice for Road Signs (IRC 67 – Fourth Revision) which were approved and included by the Indian Roads Congress. The manual was published in August 2022 by IRC.
Developed Rajasthan Road Safety Road Map - 2020 comprising state level initiatives for stakeholder departments in compliance to Hon’ble Chief Minister’s Budget Declaration (129), 2020-21. The Road Map was approved by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
Drafted a policy for Administering Grant of Financial Assistance to Civil Societies working in the Field of Road Safety in Rajasthan. The policy has been approved by the Hon’ble Transport Minister of Rajasthan and is yet to be implemented by the Government.
Prepared draft of Rajasthan State Public Transport Policy in compliance to point numbers 12.9, 12.10, 15.3 and 27.43 of State Government’s Manifesto – 2018. The policy is under review by the Government of Rajasthan.
Coordinated in drafting Rajasthan State Electric Vehicle Policy which was developed by the Department of Transport and Road Safety.
Prepared a Scheme u/s 135 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 for Investigation of Road Crashes, Development of Wayside Amenities and Establishing Traffic Aid Posts on highways. The Scheme was Notified in the Official Gazette by the Government on 03 September 2021.

Prepared Guidelines for Organizing State and District Level Road Safety Activities to be organized by the stakeholders during the 31st National Road Safety Week, 2020.
Developed a comprehensive Road Safety Action Plan (2018-2020) for the State of Rajasthan that was approved by the Hon’ble Minister of Transport and PWD.
Developed an Action Plan for Making Highways Accident Free in compliance to the Hon’ble Chief Minister's Budget Declaration 2022-23.
Prepared Road Accident Data Analysis Report for Rajasthan titled Road Accidents in Rajasthan – 2018. The report was submitted and highly appreciated by the Hon’ble Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety.
Prepared Assessment Report of Road Safety Initiatives taken by the state in year 2018 and 2019 in compliance to the directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety.
Prepared Detailed Project Report (DPR) and Working Prototype of Road Safety Web Portal being developed under CSR initiative by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL) for the state of Rajasthan.
Conducted Road Safety Audit for Grant of NOC for Access Permission to NH and Approach License Agreement for new retail outlets on NH-25 and NH-62 in Jodhpur in March 2023.
Conducted Road Safety Audit of Black Spots from Ram Ji Ka Gol to Barmer (SH 28) along with Officers of Public Works Department, Rajasthan Police and local authorities in November 2022.
Conducted Road Safety Audit of Black Spots from Jaipur to Sikar (NH 52) along with the team of IIT Madras, Rajasthan Police, National Highways Authority of India and local authorities in June 2022.
Conducted Road Safety Audit of Black Spots from Shahjahanpur to Jaipur (NH 48) along with the team of IIT Madras, Rajasthan Police, National Highways Authority of India and local authorities in April 2022.
Conducted Road Safety Audit of Black Spots in Dausa District (NH 21) along with the team of IIT Madras, National Highways Authority of India and local authorities in February 2022.

Conducted Survey of Rectified Black Spots in Chittourgarh district along with officials of State Road Safety Cell, National Highways Authority of India and local authorities in 2019.
Training and Capacity Building of staff and officers of stakeholders is important in addressing challenges in the field of Road Safety. The Hon'ble Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety have also directed the State Governments to build the capacity of officers and staff members involved in Road Safety. As a Road Safety Consultant to the Government of Rajasthan, Mr. Ashwini Bagga has continuously been involved in developing Road Safety Training Modules and sharing his expertise with various stakeholders. As a Subject Matter Expert he continues to deliver training on various aspects of Road Safety through the following Departments and Institutions across the states.
Developed Road Safety IEC Material for the State of Rajasthan which include Road Safety Booklet, Diary, Calendar, Hoardings, Banners, Posters, Leaflets, Foldable Brochure, Leaflets etc.
Validation of text and audio-visual content developed by Public Relation Agencies for promoting Road Safety including Print, Electronic and Social Media.
Monitoring and Evaluation of road safety activities conducted by Civil Societies and other institutions in different parts of the State.
