Portfolio - Ashwini Bagga

Ashwini Bagga is a trained and experienced Road Safety Professional serving the community for more than thirteen years. He started his Road Safety career from Udaipur which is a small but one of the most beautiful cities and a major tourist destination in Rajasthan. At present Mr. Bagga is pursuing Doctorate from Manipal University Jaipur on the topic Predictive Analysis of Road Crashes Using Machine Learning Algorithms.

In 2016 he joined as Consultant in Consulting Engineers Group which was engaged as Project Management Consultants to Public Works Department under World Bank Funded Project. As Consultant he was deputed in State Road Safety Cell, Department of Transport and Road Safety, Government of Rajasthan. Later he continued to engage with the department on different projects related to Road Safety. In one of his tenures, he served the department under a Project Management Unit set up by Grant Thornton Bharat LLP.

In 2023, he joined as Principal Project Officer at Centre of Excellence for Road Safety (CoERS) at IIT Madras, Chennai but left the place after a couple of months due to some post Covid complications.

During his continued journey he has been actively involved in varied activities including Policy Formulation, Planning, Participating in Road Safety Audits, Report Writing, Data Analysis, Research & Development, Training & Capacity Building and Writing Books on Road Safety as a Subject Matter Expert.
